Hsaarik Algren, rolls off the tongue, doesn't it? NOT!
My name back in FFXI was Algren. My main was a Samurai that I named after Nathan Algren from the movie "The Last Samurai".
When I started playing WoW my main was a feral druid named Hsaarik. A name I got from a map in Skyrim.
When I created my character for FFXIV, I couldn't come up with a last name that suits either name so I just combined it.
For those who use vent, my coil group specifically, I shall now reveal something to you.
The "H" is silent so you don't need to say "Ha sarik" just "Sarik".

Man I can't believe I didn't pick up on those. I should know those, especially since I watched the hell out of that movie and played the hell out of that game lol.
As for how I got my name... Faythe and I needed a last name and couldn't find one for months. I saw this last name on a beer that was pretty decent. Beer is good.

Uh... mines pretty easy.
In FFXI my characters name was FinalHeaven and I mained a monk. I guess I've always used Limit break/Ability names in every MMO I've ever played. I guess in a way naming myself white wind was a way to force myself out of playing a monk this time... didn't work :/

So my wife coined my name originally. I guess Monito is a spanish slangish word for teddy bear or something like that. So anyways that was the name. I figured he would play a bigger part too, being in the opening cutscene and all. Very disappointing what he was made to be. Although he's not a push over, he plays little to no part in the storyline.

Aldrnari is something I put together for my first Skyrim character (Nord). Roughly translated from Norse it is 'Fire Serpent' or 'Dragon.'

" FishFeather" A toon I quickly created to chat with a friend in WoW. She was a Night Elf Hunter, so I wanted to name her something earthy or of nature like the Nelfs in Wow. At the time I never really intended to play that character, since it was on a different realm than the one I was playing, but ended up being my first top level in the game. Raiding buddies started calling me just "Fish" on vent, and it caught on. Coming to FFXIVarr, I broke the name in half so that peeps can continue to call me Fish.  I miss my pet collection. |

Many have pondered over how I decided upon my name in this game. It originated, from when Le Stomp and I played FFXI. We both shared a character that was apart of one of the major LS's on our server, until the RMTs got ahold of it. After some time, I created a character named "Hard", which was the bearded hume (the best model, u know it to be true). This sumbitch was at the ripe level of 45 Red Mage when he got his first Fafhogg kill. Men wanted to be him, and women lusted to be with him.
So when FFXIV rolled around and I needed a first and last name, it was a no brainer.

I used to write a lot of stories and had a reoccurring main character named Keilah. When it came time to pick a name for my priest back in WoW, I used that character's name. Keilah was also the name of my alt on FFXI. So I guess it just kinda stuck!
Stormborn is one of Daenerys's titles in Game of Thrones. I like her character, and I like using the title as my last name well enough, but sometimes I wish I had picked a more interesting & unique name. Alas, the things I do when I'm in a hurry to start playing! Maybe one day SE will allow for name changes.

Fish Feather and I are hoping for the same. We'd like to have the same last name. I created mine during Beta and I just kept on. Fish joined at official release

My name came from other MMOs that I have played. Depending on male or female character I try to use the similar names I have had in the past.
