Well, a bit about myself. My IGN is Mardok Strayer, I'm a 50 PLD, with all crafts (except Alchemy) at 50. I played FFXI on it's PC release in NA, and I played it for about 6 years. Eventually I moved on through some other MMOs, and games in general. I enjoy crafting, and re-visiting lower level content on Alts and such, as well as progressing towards and in, End Game content at a steady pace.
A friend of mine irl (Jagen Rise)had started running a guild in Warhammer, and I joined up with him in that venture. He had a good group of players and we had a really good time in that game, and we've kept in close contact with some of those guys through several games now. We only had 2 rules in that guild, and they're almost identical to the ones you guys run. 1. Don't be a dick, 2. Show up for guild activities. Those of us that came over to FFXIV started out in our own little FC, just for the storage space, while we stock up and work towards end game, etc. We've had a handful lose interest in the game(just not their personal taste), but there are a few of us that are enjoying it, and looking forward to future content, that are currently looking for an FC to join and gain some new companions in.
I came across your recruitment thread on the official forums, looked into your site, and thought it might be a good fit.
While this is an application for myself, I anticipate that 50DRG-Jagen Rise(RL friend of mine), 50SMN-Phoenix Down(my RL Brother), and 50WHM-Caladin Brood(gaming friend) will want to join up where ever I go. Jagen, Caladin, and myself are experienced in end game content across a number of MMOs, and my brother is just a solid gamer in general, and will be able to catch on quickly.
