Hello Braver members,
My name is Alex and my wife, Jen and I, are new to FF14 and looking for a FC to join that seems to line up with exactly what you describe. We come from very different gaming backgrounds but throughly enjoy playing all types of games together. We're looking for a group of mature people who know how to have a good time and enjoy the game. We mainly play on weekends.
A little about each of us:
Alex- 33 glad / 20s lancer (cant decide yet) - Armorsmith/Miner IGN: Araven Greywolf
Mid 20s, Lifetime Gamer. I have been drawn to endgame content and challenges since my first MMO, WoW. Although I don't have the time to commit to daily raiding I still enjoy the challenge and the teamwork required to clear the content. What I never enjoyed was the job like commitment and elitist attitude that most guilds seemed to require. My goal is to enjoy the game, have fun with an amazing group of people, and clear all the content. I was the Main tank for 2 guilds from BWL onward and stopped playing about halfway through the BC expansion. I'm not easily frustrated in encounters and don't mind dying (hundreds of times! lol). Since picking up FF14 in mid Feb, I can already tell I've got the bug again.
Jen- 33 thm - botanist/weaver IGN: Kaliiki Greywolf
Late 20s, new to gaming. I'm new to MMOs, I played WoW some with Alex during the later part of BC but never got to raid with him. I'm still learning my way around but really enjoy the game and like doing dungeons. I think I like the social/teamwork aspect the most and would like to meet some new people who have a good sense of humor. I played some console games throughout childhood but until I met Alex I never thought of myself as a gamer.
