While sitting in Limsa Lominsa, I decided to go do my dailies.
Teleport to:
Ul'Dah : 211 gil. (+Favourite)
Little Ala Mhigo : 426 (ish) gil.
If you have the time, just teleport to the city and take the Chocobo porters. It costs 30g from Ul'dah to Little Ala Mhigo. For a total of 241g. (+ 3mins of your time)
Gridania : 309 gil. (+Favourite)
Hawthorne Hut : 663 gil.
To Hawthorne hut is cheap too, Take the teleport to Gridania, then to the Lancer's Guild, and take the free boat. A short run away, you are at Little Solace.
Dragonhead : 490 gil.
Reventant's Toll : 170ish gil (+Favourite)
To Coerthas? Teleport to Revenant's Toll and run across the border. Once in the zone, the teleport to Dragonhead is 70-100g (buff difference).
You may only be saving 100, maybe 200 gil sometimes, but it adds up. Using the porters may take a few minutes, but that gives you time to go get a coffee, or whatever else.
How many times do you teleport in a day?
Make sure that you set your favourite aetherytes to which is most convenient to you. Don't waste them by having "home" as a favourite.
Don't forget about the airships too. Skip the Cutscene, and it's only about 100-200 gil.
